Dr Mikael Prytz head research area Networks at Ericsson Research. The unit’s focus is 5G evolution and 6G covering radio network architectures and protocols, packet core, fronthaul, programmable networks, and network automation. Mikael has previously worked with fixed network design, multi-radio network architecture, standardization, and radio spectrum regulation across Ericsson’s research, technical sales support, and services units as well as in international research programs and exchanges. He holds a PhD in optimization and systems theory and two MS in operations research and engineering physics respectively.
