Gunilla Jacobsson

Director of Translational Medicine - Stanford University
Dr. Gunilla Jacobson is the Director of Translational Medicine in the Department of Radiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Her work is focused on innovations in the areas of precision medicine and precision health, with the goal of developing methods for early detection of disease, targeted and personal treatments of disease, and ways to predict disease in order to sustain health and prevent illness. Dr. Jacobson has a PhD in Organic Chemistry, and is a Docent, at Uppsala University in Sweden. She has over 20 years experience in translating research within academia, industry, and at US National Laboratories to bring solutions to patients, and to market.
