Chief Environmental Officer - Northvolt
Dr Emma Nehrenheim completed her PhD in the area of industrial waste products and wastewater. Emma thereafter engaged in numerous R&D projects within the industry until becoming a Professor in Environmental Engineering. Emma also spent a few years at ABB, focusing on disruptive solutions and business models for the utility segment. Emma has been with Northvolt since 2017 and has led and built the environmental and sustainability track. As Chief Environmental Officer, Emma is running Northvolt initiatives working towards both factory sustainability and global business sustainability, as well as the Northvolt business unit Revolt, which involves battery recycling to support the raw material strategy of Northvolt.
